Muslim Students Society advocates need to instill good moral values among youths

Muslim Students Society, MSS, of the Aliko Dangote College of Health Sciences and Technology Bauchi, has organised a special Islamic lecture session aimed at enlightening Muslim students on the need to uphold good moral values among youths.
Delivering a lecture at the event, the Chief Imam of Bauchi, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, urged Muslim women and youths to have the fear of Allah and avoid immoral practices capable of undermining their dignity.
Imam, Abdurrahman stressed the need for students to uphold good character in every aspect of their lives, particularly at a time when moral values are increasingly being eroded in society.
He specifically advised female students to explore their worth and protect their dignity, warning them not to allow negative influence to compromise their honour in this life and the hereafter.
Also speaking, Alaramma Huzaifa who is a lecturer at the college, reflected on lessons from Surah Yusuf, highlighting the trials and challenges faced by Prophet Yusuf, peace be upon him, and his steadfastness encountered throughout his life.
He explained that despite the blessings and favours bestowed upon Prophet Yusuf by Allah, he remained steadfast and did not allow negative tendencies to corrupt his character, urging the students to emulate his patience, perseverance .
The lecturer further called on the MSS leadership to strengthen its monitoring and mentorship of Muslim students, , to promote good character and protect them from negative influences that could derail their conduct.
