Gamawa Local Government Boss pledges commitment to peace, development and education

The Chairman, Gamawa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Ali Babayo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting meaningful development, peace and educational advancement in the area.
Alhaji Ali Babayo was speaking when members of the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Gamawa Local Government, paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
The Chairman expressed appreciation for the visit, saying that even if the group had not come to him, he would have taken steps to seek their presence as part of efforts to foster collaboration with all sections of the local government.
He particularly acknowledged the important role of religious scholars in promoting peace, unity and development, urging them to continue providing guidance and constructive advice to the administration.
Alhaji Ali Babayo called on the scholars to always speak the truth and draw his attention to any issue they considered capable of negatively affecting the effective administration and development of the local government.
He assured them that his administration would welcome honest and constructive counsel, stressing that their contributions were vital to ensuring good governance and sustainable development in Gamawa.
Earlier, the Chairman of the organisation in Gamawa Local Government, Malam Abubakar Dadan Garba, assured Alhaji Ali Babayo of the group’s support and cooperation.
Malam Abubakar Dadan Garba said the group would support the administration with prayers, encouragement and constructive guidance as the Chairman undertakes his responsibilities.
He prayed for the success of the administration and wished the Chairman a peaceful and successful tenure, with the guidance and blessings of Almighty Allah.
