The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Bauchi State Chapter, has intensified mobilisation for the forthcoming World Public Relations Forum.
The grand roadshow, held from the Bauchi Emir’s Palace to the Government House, Bauchi, was part of efforts to create public awareness and generate support for the international event, which Nigeria is expected to host in November 2027.
Speaking during the roadshow, Chairman of NIPR Bauchi State Chapter, Muhammad Rabi’u Wada, described the World Public Relations Forum as a major international gathering that would bring together public relations professionals and other stakeholders from across the world.
He said the chapter would sustain its mobilisation campaign across ministries, departments, agencies and other institutions to encourage participation and build wider support for the programme.
Muhammad Rabi’u Wada appreciated members of the institute, the Commissioner of Police, the Department of Mass Communication, Bauchi State Polytechnic and the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi for their support and cooperation towards the success of the awareness campaign.
In his remarks, Chairman of the NIPR Elders’ Forum, Inuwa Bello, expressed the readiness of members to participate actively in activities surrounding the World Public Relations Forum in Abuja.
He commended the NIPR Executive Committee in Bauchi State for its mobilisation efforts and urged members to continue supporting the institute’s programmes.
Inuwa Bello further called on the Executive Committee to intensify its awareness campaign through visits to ministries, departments, agencies and other institutions, as well as door-to-door mobilisation.
He stressed that greater teamwork, commitment and collective participation among members would strengthen Bauchi State’s representation at the international forum.
