Gamawa Local Government Staff Officer Pledges Workers’ Support for New Chairman
The executive Chairman Gamawa Local Government, Hon. Ali Babayo has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working tirelessly to achieve meaningful development, peace and educational advancement across the local government.
Hon. Ali Babayo made this commitment during a courtesy visit by members of the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) to his office.
The Chairman expressed his appreciation for the visit, stating that even if the group had not come to him, he would have sought their presence to ensure collaboration with all sections of the local government, particularly religious scholars, who he said have an important role to play in promoting peace and development in society.
He urged the religious scholars to always speak the truth and provide constructive advice whenever they observe anything that could negatively affect the proper administration and development of Gamawa Local Government.
The Chairman further called on them to point out any issue they believed was contrary to the principles of good governance, assuring them that their honest counsel would be welcomed.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of JIBWIS in Gamawa Local Government, Malam Abubakar Dadan Garba, assured Hon. Ali Babayo of the group’s support.
He said, “We are behind you to support you with prayers and encouragement as you take on this new responsibility.
Malam Abubakar Dadan Garba prayed for the success of the Chairman’s administration and wished him a peaceful and successful tenure in office, with the guidance and blessings of Almighty God.
