The Chairman of Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Pharmacist Ibrahim Dembo, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in the area on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Maulud celebration, urging them to uphold the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In a goodwill message, Pharmacist Dembo called on Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on the life, teachings and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet and translate his virtues into their daily lives.

He urged the faithful to uphold peace, love, patience, honesty, humility and compassion, while stressing the importance of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths.

The chairman noted that religious diversity should not be a source of division but an opportunity for communities to promote mutual respect, understanding and unity.

He wished the Muslim Ummah a peaceful and blessed Eid-el-Maulud celebration and prayed for continued peace, security and prosperity in Toro Local Government, Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
