Bauchi Radio Corporation pledges to partner with stakeholders to uphold Arts and Culture

The Managing Director Bauchi Radio Corporation Alhaji Umar Mohammed Shira has pledged his to partner with the National Council for Arts and Culture North East in other to achieve their set objective.

The MD made the plea when he received the management team of the the Council in his office on a Courtesy Visit to the station .

He said BRC and National Council of Arts and Culture are parters in progress trying to educate, inform and sensitize the public on the policies and programs of the government as well as to promote, protect and preserve the Cultural Heritage within their communities in the state and the North East at large.

The Managing Director said his doors are open at all the time provided they need his help in areas of Culture and Tradition which is a vital area that the public would like to know.

While Speaking to the members on the Courtesy Visit, he added that BRC has ten Community Radios, with sub station in Azare apart from the main station here in the state capital, which will all be used to ensure that their target is achieved.

He also promised them free air time and free coverage at any given period that has to do with the Culture and Tradition of the areas within the state and the North East zones.

Earlier in his speech the Newly posted Director Mohammed Nasiru Ladan said the essence of their visit to the Corporation was to establish synergy between the two Agencies to enable them sensitize the public on their programs that has to do with the Culture and Tradition of the people of the area.

According to him, ones the relationship is established, he believes that the public will know much about their programs.

He used the medium and appreciated the management team especially the managing Director for the warm welcome and pledge that soon they will go and plan their programs to start to execute them for the public consumption regarding the Culture and Tradition.
