Bogoro Council Chairman directs immediate overhaul of Local Government ICT Centre

The Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Area, Dr. Zakka Luka Magaji, has ordered the immediate cleanup and comprehensive overhaul of the Local Government ICT Centre located at the Council Secretariat.
Dr. Zakka Magaji issued the directive during an on site inspection of the facility alongside key members of the council’s management team and administrative staff.
Addressing officials during the visit, the Chairman stated that the intervention aims to restore the facility to full functionality, creating a modern operational hub for efficient administrative tasks, digital services, and streamlined record management.
He reaffirmed his administration’s focus on practical, technology-driven governance aimed at modernizing council infrastructure.
Also speaking, the Council’s ICT Desk Officer, Mr. Musa Ali, briefed the Chairman on the facility’s current condition and commended the administration’s prompt response.
Musa Ali noted that, the centre possesses significant untapped potential in data management, internal communication, and digital services.
He expressed confidence that with the planned structural updates, modern equipment, and adequate staffing, the ICT Centre will become fully operational and drive regional development.
