Bauchi Commissioner for Water Resources, resigns to join political race

Following the resignation of Alhaji Abdurazaq Nuhu Zaki as Commissioner for Water Resources, to join politics, the Management of the Bauchi State Urban Water and Sewerage Corporation , led by Managing Director Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda, has held a farewell meeting in his honour.
The Commissioner stepped down to pursue his ambition of representing Bauchi Central constituency at the Senate.
During the meeting, Alhaji Zaki expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation he enjoyed throughout his tenure.
He acknowledged the vital assistance from Bauchi State Urban Water and Sewarage Corporation and other stakeholders, which he said enabled him to fulfill the mandate of Governor Bala Abdulqadir Muhammad, particularly the provision of portable water to residents of Bauchi State.
Responding, the Managing Director Bauchi Water and Sewarage Corporation, Hajiya Uwani Garba Dagauda praised the outgoing Commissioner for his dedication, hard work, generosity, and remarkable service to the people of Bauchi State.
She extended her best wishes towards his future political ambitions and stressed the importance of continued collaboration, and prayed for continued progress in the Bauchi state water sector.
