The Yakubu Adamu Support Organisation (YASO) has intensified its grassroots mobilisation in Bauchi State with the inauguration of its Alkaleri Local Government Area executives and the donation of essential drugs to a maternity clinic to support vulnerable patients.
The organisation carried out the activities during a familiarisation visit to the Alkaleri Local Government Council, where Mu’azu Muhammad Yarima was inaugurated as the LGA Coordinator.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the organisation to mobilise support for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and promote the political ambition of the party’s governorship candidate in Bauchi State, Hon. Yakubu Adamu, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing party stakeholders and residents, the Bauchi State Coordinator of YASO, Comrade AbdulWaris S. Maleka, said the organisation was committed to raising awareness of the governorship candidate’s development agenda and strengthening its presence at the grassroots.
He charged the newly inaugurated executives to work closely with the state leadership to ensure effective mobilisation of voters across the wards and polling units in Alkaleri Local Government Area.
Also speaking at the event, Comrade Adamu Adamu, who represented the governorship candidate’s family, assured residents that an administration under Hon. Yakubu Adamu would promote inclusiveness irrespective of ethnic and religious differences.
He described youth inclusion and empowerment as key priorities of the proposed administration, stressing the need to provide young people with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to governance and development.
In his response, the newly inaugurated Alkaleri LGA Coordinator, Mu’azu Muhammad Yarima, expressed appreciation to the YASO State Executive Council for the confidence reposed in him and his team.
He pledged the commitment of the newly inaugurated executives to the organisation’s activities and vowed to work towards strengthening the APM’s support base and electoral prospects across the local government area.
Muhammad Mu’azu also acknowledged the developmental initiatives of Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, expressing appreciation for his administration’s efforts and the community’s readiness to reciprocate its support.
As part of its humanitarian activities, YASO donated essential consumable drugs to a maternity clinic in Alkaleri metropolis to support the treatment of underprivileged and vulnerable patients.
Receiving the medical supplies on behalf of the facility, the officer in charge expressed appreciation for the intervention and assured the delegation that the items would be distributed to the intended beneficiaries.
