Last batch of Bauchi pilgrims returns to Nigeria after the 2025 pilgrimage

The last flight of the Bauchi State Pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj exercise have landed at the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International airport on Friday.

 

Addressing Journalists after their arrival, the Executive Secretary, Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, expressed delight with the commitment of the state Amirul Hajj, the Emir of Jama’are Alhaji Nuhu Ahmad Wabi with his Deputy, the Speaker of the state House of Assembly Dr. Abubakar Y. Sulaiman, Hajj Officials and other islamic schorlars for their contributions towards the success of the Hajj exercise.

 

He acknowledged the tireless efforts of working Journalists, for the given adequate publicity to the activities of the board and Hajj affairs while in the state and at the Holy Land.

 

The Executive Secretary therefore commended Bauchi Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his passion to improve the Hajj exercise and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.

 

Also speaking the Director Education and Enlightenment of the Board Alhaji Hashimu Abubakar Sadiq expressed gratitude to God for the smooth Hajj operation of the exercise Pilgrims and prayed for soul of Bauchi State pilgrim who died in the holy.

 

In his remarks, the Chief Imam of Bauchi , Imam Muhammad Bala Ahmed Baban Inna, commended the Hajj enlightenment committee by the State Pilgrims Welfare Board for living up to their statutory mandate of educating the pilgrims on the Hajj activities.

 

Speaking on behalf of the last batch of Bauchi pilgrims, Aliyu Zakari and Amina Umar from the Bauchi Radio Corporation expressed gratitude to God, for being part of the 2025 Pilgrimage, and prayed God to accept their Ibadat.
