The newly elected Chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Katagum Branch, Muhammad Alhaji Rufa’i, has called on members of the branch to unite and work together towards advancing the association.
Muhammad Rufa’i made the call in an interview with our reporter in his chamber in Azare, after being declared winner of the recently concluded NBA Katagum Branch election.
He expressed satisfaction with the peaceful and successful conduct of the election, commending the electoral committee, led by Leleji Shehu, for what he described as a job well done.
The new chairman also praised the immediate past leadership of the branch, led by Mustapha Alhaji Billa, for its contributions to the growth and development of the association.
Muhammad Rufa’i solicited the support and technical expertise of members to enable his administration achieve its set objectives.
He further appealed to his fellow contestant, Dahiru Muhammad Umar, to bring his wealth of experience to bear by supporting the new administration for the overall progress of the association.
The NBA Chiarman assured members that his administration would be inclusive and committed to carrying everyone along, while prioritising the protection of members’ rights and welfare.
