Gov Bala seeks CAC partnership to drive ease of doing business in Bauchi

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has called for a stronger partnership with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to improve the ease of doing business and support economic diversification in Bauchi State.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2026 CAC Management Retreat at the Ahmadu Bello International Conference Centre in Bauchi, the governor emphasized that closer collaboration between the state government and the commission would significantly boost business operators, particularly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Governor Bala Mohammed described the CAC as a vital instrument of a for national economic development and commended its Registrar-General, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, for advancing digital transformation within the agency.

He assured the commission of the state government’s full support in fulfilling its mandate for the benefit of the region.

In his remarks, Registrar-General Hussaini Ishaq Magaji stated that the retreat forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance staff operational capacity and improve overall service delivery.

Hussaini Magaji added that, the commission is currently undergoing key technological reforms, including the deployment of Artificial Intelligence to streamline digital processes and ensure faster registration for clients.
