Bauchi First Lady revives abandoned Bauchi Tsangaya Model School

Bauchi State First Lady, Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, has reaffirmed her dedication to improving educational standards in the state following a assessment visit to the newly renovated Sheikh Tahir Usman Tsangaya Model School along Gombe Road, Bauchi.

Speaking after the inspection, Dr. Aisha Mohammed explained that restoring the long-abandoned facility had been a top priority since she assumed office.

She expressed satisfaction that the school is now fully revitalized to educate future generations, noting that, the renovation was executed through her non-governmental organization, the Al’Muhibbah Foundation, with support from key partners.

Briefing the First Lady during the visit, the school administrator, Sayyadi Ali Sheikh Tahir Usman, disclosed that the institution was originally established under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan but fell into disuse for several years.

He revealed that the school has now partnered with the Al’Muhibbah Foundation to ensure structured and sustainable operations, adding that full academic activities will resume immediately after the current school holidays.

Sayyadi Ali Tahir expressed deep appreciation to Dr. Aisha Mohammed for her intervention and continued commitment to community development.
