The Chief Medical Director, Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital Azare, Dr. Dauda Abubakar Katagum has officially received First batch of 116 (400 Level) Medical Students on Clinical posting to the Hospital from the Federal University of Health Sciences Azare, FUHSA.
Receiving the Medical Students together with the Top Management Committee, the CMD congratulated the students on achieving success in their course work, saying they are now in the crucial stage of practical learning that will qualify them as Medical Doctors in their respective Fields.
Dr. Dauda Abubakar advised them to remain ethical, keen and obedient to the Doctors, Nurses and the Staff from whom they will gain the desired experiences as well as respect and treat their patients with empathy.
Also speaking, the CMAC and Director, Clinical Services under whose Department the Students will stay, Dr. Sani Abdullahi Giade advised them to remain focused and commit themselves to learning from the Doctors and Nurses and other Staff around them.
In his comment, the Deputy CMAC 1, Dr. Muhammad Auwal Muhammad also advised them to be careful and concentrate on acquiring the best experiences to enable them become more perfect .
While handing over the Medical Students to the Chief Medical Director, the Dean Faculty of Clinical Science ,FUHSA Dr. Bello Ibrahim admonished them to be extra careful in dealing with patients, show respect, consideration,as well as keeping their confidentialities.
He added that, their clinical experiences will ultimately enable them become qualified Medical Doctors in the near future.
In a short orientation lecture for the Students at the University’s new Conference Hall, the Head of Surgery Department, FUHSTHA, Dr.Jatto Kb advised the Students to be punctual,decent and follow their trainers closely with patience.
