Bauchi State Civil Service Commission Approves Post Retirement Promotion and Absorption of five Officers

Bauchi State Civil Service Commission has approved the post retirement promotion of Abdullahi Muhammad Tanko, a Chief Education Officer on grade levels fifteen to the rank of substantive Director Upper Basic on grade levels sixteen with effect from 23rd December, 2021.
The Commission considered this among others during its plenary session.
The Commission during the sitting formalized the absorption of five contracted staff of the Community and Social Development Agency into the state service.
The engaged staff are Administrative Officer II, Accountant II, Program Analyst II, Chemical Engineer and a Land Officer who will serve in different Ministries in the State.
The Commission further formalized the engagement of a contract appointments of Khadija Muhammad Mahe and Zainab Abdullahi as Catering Officer and Assistant Chief Catering on grade levels six and seven respectively, for the initial period of two years effective from 01/05/2026 who will serve at the Government House under the Governor’s Office.
In his remark the Chairman of the Commission Dr Ibrahim Alhaji Muhammad, enjoined the officers to use their expertise in rendering the service for the development of civil service in the state.
According to him, Government has high expectations on them, hence the approval of their absorption for the continuation of their good work for effective service delivery.
Dr Ibrahim appreciated Governor, Bala Mohammed for approving a request to re-engage two ex-staff of Government House on a contract basis as well as the appointments of two women,whom the gesture will no doubt help to cater for the wellbeing of their families.
The submissions deliberated on was a recommendations from the office of the state Head of civil service with twelve cases and eight have been approved successfully.
