Bauchi Mobile Court orders closure of Sulgad Hotel and Susan Gas Station

The Bauchi State Environmental Protection and Sanitation Mobile Court has ordered the closure of Sulgad Hotel along Maiduguri Bypass and Susan Gas Station along Dass Road for allegedly disobeying previous court rulings.

The presiding Magistrate, Laraba Hamisu, issued the order during proceedings at the Bauchi State Environmental Protection and Sanitation Mobile Court.

The court also adjourned four sanitation-related cases for further hearing, while Usman Hussaini was fined ₦25,000 while Adamu Yakubu, on his part, was discharged after completing the sanction imposed on him.

In a related development, another defaulter who displayed charcoal on a pedestrian walkway at Tirwun Market was fined ₦5,000.

Magistrate Laraba Hamisu explained that the court’s decisions followed the offenders’ admission of guilt.
