Toro APM Stakeholders urge Fulani Community to support Governor Bala Mohammed

The Fulani community in Toro Local Government Area has been urged to support the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed in recognition of its developmental achievements and key interventions for pastoralist communities.
The call was made by the Chairman of Toro Local Government, Pharmacist Ibrahim Dembo during a grassroots sensitization and mobilization gathering.
Speaking at the event, pharmacist Ibrahim Dembo represented by his deputy, Alhaji Adamu Umar Danyaro Geji advocated for sustained peaceful coexistence with neighboring communities while urging residents to support Governor Mohammed and candidates of the Alliance People’s Movement (APM) across the state.
In his welcome address, the Chairman of the Bauchi State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Malaria (BACATMA), Dr. Adamu Sambo, highlighted the administration’s key contributions to the Fulani community, including political appointments, the provision of designated grazing areas, expanded access to water facilities and the protection of cattle routes.
Dr. Adamu Sambo called on community members to reciprocate these interventions through active political alignment.
Reinforcing this message, the Director-General of the Coalition of Fulani Campaign Directorate noted that the forum was designed to strengthen grassroots engagement ahead of upcoming political campaigns.
