The Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Stakeholders in Misau Local Government Area, Alhaji Muhammad Yarima, has called on the Christian faithful to use the season for deep spiritual reflection and prayers for national unity and development.
Alhaji Yarima made the call in his 2025 Christmas message to the Christian community, urging them to offer special prayers for sustained peace, tranquility and economic recovery in Misau Local Government Area, Bauchi State and the country at large.
He noted that, the long history of peaceful coexistence, shared residency and commercial interactions among people of different faiths in the area, has strengthened mutual understanding and solidarity.
According to him, the tradition of living, trading and socializing together in an atmosphere of peace has ensured that moments of celebration and challenges are collectively shared by the entire community.
The PDP stakeholder further called on residents of Misau and Bauchi State to remain patriotic, stressing that being committed to the development of the local government, the state and the nation is crucial to enabling leaders to successfully implement people-oriented projects.
Alhaji Yarima also commended the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his inclusive leadership style, which he said has contributed significantly to the prevailing peace and stability in the state.
He described the governor’s commitment to fairness and justice for all citizens, regardless of background, as a key factor in making Bauchi State a haven of peace, while also praising the administration’s efforts in delivering infrastructure and social welfare projects across the state.
He prayed for continued peace, security and prosperity, and wished Christians a joyful Christmas celebration and a productive year ahead.
