Parents have been advised to monitor the movement of their children.
The Executive chairman of Ningi Local Government Alhaji Nasiru Zakarai has enjoined parents to discharge their parental role by monitoring the movement of their children for a better society.
The executive Chairman was speaking on his 2025 sallah message to the people of the area.
He said parents nowadays, neglected the responsibilities which bring setbak to the socio economic development of the area.
According to him, no society could developed in a chaotic environment, hence the need for all and sundry report any suspicious movement to the relevant security agencies for prompt action.
To this end, Alhaji Nasiru announced plans by the local government to embark on sensitization and advocacy visit to community and religious leaders in the local government on the need for change of attitudes for the growth and development of the council.
He used the medium and called on farmers and herders in the local to remain united and respect each other’s need for peace to reign in local government and the state at large.
Alhaji Nasiru Zakarai therefore appreciated the state governor Sen Bala Mohammed for awarding additional roads construction in the local council and the senator representing Bauchi Central Senatorial district, Abdul Ahmed Ningi for facilitating the reconstruction of Ningi Burra road to boost the socio economic development of area.
Meanwhile, the Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Danyaya challenged people of the local government to engage fully in farming activities as the rainy season set in for food security in the area.
Represented by Hakimin Ningi/Chiroman Ningi Alhaji Yusuf Yunusa Danyaya, the Emir prayed for peaceful coexistence in the area.
While appreciating the State Governor Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his inclusive leadership style of ensuring rapid development, prayed God Almighty to bring back Bauchi state pilgrims safely after performing this year’s Hajj.
