The National Union of Bauchi State Students (NUBASS), Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Chapter, has advised graduating students of the institution to promptly verify their details on the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilisation list.
In a statement signed by the Secretary General of the union, Comrade Aliyu Adamu Faggo, NUBASS disclosed that the NYSC mobilisation list for prospective corps members has been released and is now available for verification.
The union urged all graduating students to carefully check their names and personal information on the list, including name arrangement, date of birth, matriculation number and course of study, to ensure accuracy.
According to the statement, students with any discrepancies are expected to make the necessary corrections immediately, as the data will soon be uploaded for NYSC Batch ‘A’ 2026.
The union further warned that no corrections would be entertained after the final upload deadline, stressing the need for urgency and diligence on the part of affected students.
Meanwhile, NUBASS also condoled the family of late Abdurrahman Abdulmu’iz, an ND I student of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, who passed away recently.
The condolence message, issued in a separate press statement, described the late student as one who was preparing to proceed to ND II before his untimely death.
The leadership of the union, on behalf of the entire students of the polytechnic, prayed for Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and to give his family, as well as the Faculty of Agriculture, the strength to bear the loss.
