Ningi Local Goverment Council Distributes Agricultural inputs to Farmers

The Chairman Ningi Local Government Council, Alhaji Nasiru Zakarai, has flagged off the distribution of knapsack sprayers to selected farmers across the area.

Speaking during the exercise held in Ningi, Alhaji Nasiru Zakarai explained that the gesture was part of his administration’s commitment to supporting farmers with essential agricultural inputs.

He noted that the intervention is aimed at boosting food production and ensuring food security in the area, adding that a total of 130 farmers mainly youths were selected from the 18 wards of the local government Area as beneficiaries
The chairman charged the beneficiaries to make proper and effective use of the sprayers to achieve bumper harvests and improve their farming activities.

Also speaking, the Chairman the Ningi Legislative Council, Alh Mas’ud Hassan, commended the Chairman for his continuous efforts in promoting agriculture and empowering farmers within the local government.
