Member representing Burra at the Bauchi State Assembly support the construction of a culvert in his constituency.

The member representing Burra constituency at the Bauchi State House of Assembly Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Burra has made a donation of five hundred thousand naira to support the construction of a culvert at Unguwar Malamai, Yadagungume community, Ningi Local Government area.

Presenting the donation to the representatives of the community, Alhaji Tanko Burra said the contribution will likely help improve local infrastructure and drainage, addressing a specific need in the community for managing water flow and preventing flooding.

According to him, the move is part of effort to end the bedevilling challenges of the electorates that massively gave him a golden chance to represent them at the state assembly.

The lawmaker noted that, he received complaints that the Yadagungume community often encounters floods during the rainy season due to lack functional water ways, hence the need to send a contractor to give an estimate of the cost to the culvert construction in the area.

Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko Burra used the medium and urged the contractor to carry out quality work for the benefits of the community.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the community, the PDP Chairman of Sama Ward, Malam Sani Boda said the lawmaker’s action demonstrates a commitment to public service and community development.

While assuring the Unguwar Malamai of Yadagungume’s readiness to monitor the construction of the culvert, Malam Sani Boda appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture and prayed to God to reward him.
