‎Bogoro council boss  Partners NIMC :Vows to extend identity enrollment to grassroots ‎

‎The Executive Chairman Bogoro Local Government Council , Mr Yakubu Lawi Sumi has reaffirmed his administration’s determination to partner with the National identity management commission to take enrollment of national identity number to the grassroot level.
‎Mr Yakubu Lawi Sumi stated this while officially flagging off the National Identity Number (NIN) registration exercise at the council chamber.
‎The chairman encouraged all eligible and legal residents who are yet to enroll to take advantage of the opportunity and participate fully in the exercise.
‎Mr Yakubu Lawi Sumi appeals to members of the public to come out en masse to take advantage of the ward-to-ward enrollment exercise to enroll their children, parents, wards, and family members within their community in order to benefit from future Government programs and interventions.
He promised to provide them with all needed support to ensure a smooth and successful conduct of the exercise across the Local Government.
‎Speaking during the exercise, the National identity management commission Principal Identity officer operations , Mr James S. Ali emphasized the importance of the NIN, stressing that parents or guardians must provide their valid NIN and personal details to enable the successful registration of children between the ages of 0–16 years.
‎Mr James Ali disclosed that the initiative is designed to benefit legal residents across all wards in Bogoro Local Government Area including children and adults into the National identity management commission database.
‎According to him, the enrollment exercises will last for Six (6) weeks across all the thirteen wards, urging parents to take full advantage of this opportunity by bringing their children out for registration.
‎He noted that the enrolment is scheduled on a rotational ward by ward basis with the movement of licensed front-end partners and NIMC staff, adding that the enrollment exercises are Free.
