Bauchi State Contingents Secures Gold Medal at ongoing National Youths Games

Bauchi state contingents have secured a second Gold medal at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba Delta state.

Abdulazeez Abdulrazak and Sadis Muhammad grabed the Gold medal in Badminton boys doubles event, after defeating their Edo state opponents two-one in the final match.

Speaking shortly after the tournament, , coach Abdulazeez Ahmad Azare, expressed delight over the victory, considering the fact that in the current Youth Games, Bauchi state had clinched Gold and Bronze in Badminton event alone.

As this year’s national youth games coming to an end, Bauchi athletes are still searching for additional medals in their remaining games.

So far, the state has secured two Gold, four Silver and two bronze medals across different sporting events.
