Bauchi Radio Corporation reiterates commitment to partner with Union of Herbal Medicine practitioners for improved Healthcare

The Managing Director Bauchi Radio Corporation Alhaji Umar Mohammed Shira has pledged to partner with the Nigeria Herbal Medicine Workers Union Bauchi State Chapter to educate and inform the public on their activities through improved Healthcare service.
The managing Director who made the pledge when he received the Executive members of the Association on a Courtesy visit to the Corporation , promised to provide free air time for a period of three months to air their programs in sensitizing the people of the state concerning the impact of the service to the people of the state.
The Managing Director appreciated the leadership of the Association for their resilience by registering the Association at the federal government level that would pave way for them to treat people suffering from different kinds of ailments.
He charged them to improve their work through constant research and workshop towards improving the livelihood of the people in the state.
He also admonished them to ensure that they fish out quacks among them to ensure that they do not give room for saboutuers who try to cause setback within the Association.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the Association Dr Shafiu Ibrahim said they were at the Brc to seek for synergy between the Nigeria Herbal Medicine Workers Union and the BRC in order to inform and educate the public on the importance of their work, believing that it can go beyond their reach within Bauchi and it’s environs.
Dr Ibrahim said the Association encompasses many Health related professions to include Medical Doctors, Nurses, and Lab scientist, including , Hunters, Fishermen, Native Barbers as as well Pastors and Imams to ensure sanity within the Union.
