The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Bauchi State Governor on Religious Affairs, Alarammah Aminu Maisule Zirami, has cautioned organisers of the forthcoming Maulud celebrations across the state to ensure that all activities are conducted in line with Islamic teachings and acceptable standards of decency.
Alarammah Aminu Zirami gave the warning while addressing Maulud organisers, urging them to ensure decent dressing and responsible conduct throughout the celebrations.
He particularly cautioned against inappropriate mixing of men and women during the events, as well as the use of songs that are unrelated to the praise and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The Governor’s aide also warned organisers against the use of unethical drums and other activities capable of undermining the sanctity and purpose of the Maulud celebration.
He explained that organisers who violate the stipulated guidelines could face the full force of the law, urging participants to conduct themselves peacefully and responsibly.
Alarammah Aminu Zirami called on organisers and participants to use the occasion to promote love, unity, religious teachings and respect for Islamic values across Bauchi State.
