Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has tasked the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to work with maximum productivity and efficiency for better service delivery.
The Governor was speaking at the swearing-in of the newly appointed Special Adviser on Youth, Chairman Civil Service Commission, State Auditor General, Members of Assembly Service Commission, and Permanent Secretaries among others held at the Council Chambers, Government House, Bauchi.
Governor Bala Mohammed said Permanent Secretaries as Accounting officers in their respective MDAs, hence the need for them to support the implementation of his administration’s policies and programmes.
He congratulated all the sworn in appointees and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by working collectively towards addressing the numerous challenges facing the state.
Responding on behalf of the sworn in appointees, the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Dr Ibrahim Alaji expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for finding them worthy of the positions and promised to live up to expectations.
