Bauchi Emirate Council expresses readiness to Partner with any initiative towards promoting peace and unity

The Emir of Bauchi, Dr Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu made this known during the first Mal Yakubun Bauchi Memorial Lecture organized by Resource Forum of the Islamic Movement under the leadership of Sayyid Ibrahim Yaqoub Zakzaky held at the Bauchi central mosque, Bauchi.

The Emir represented by Galajen Bauchi, described the lecture as a tool of promoting the image of the emirate that review the good virtues of the late emir which encourage peace, unity and religion.

Dr Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu adviced the forum to register all of their members due to their significant and the role they play in maintaining orderliness during their activities.

In his remarks, the special guest of honour, who is the Chairman of Bauchi Local Government, Alh Mahmud Baba Ma’aji, expressed Council’s determination to support in sustaining the program that promote the good image of Bauchi emirate council.

Represented by the Council’s Secretary Sani Mahmud Ahamad advised the populace to engage in any activity will promote cultural heritage and the state mother emirate.

In his opening remarks, the forum Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Danladi of ABU Zaria said the purpose of the lecture is to enlightened fellow citizens on the contributions of late Mal Yakubun Bauchi toward the development of Bauchi and the Islam.

Professor Abdullahi Danladi appeal for unity among Islamic groups hence the need for all hands to be on deck in order to support religious activities in the state and country in general.

Also Speaking In their presentations, Alh Adamu Danrimi Wakilin Tarihin Bauchi and Professor Safiyyuden Abdulkadir delivered extensively on history of Mal Yakubun Bauchi that have been born in 1763 in Tirwun village and the impact of his good attitude to include elimination of ethnicity and tribalism, contentment unity and tolerance.
