Bauchi Commerce Commissioner applauds Governor for introducing empowerment programme

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has been commended for training over seven thousand people in the state from small and medium scale Enterpreneurs to make them self reliant.

The Commissioner Ministry of Commerce,Industry and Investment Mohammed Salis Gamawa made commendation when he featured in a live phone in program tagged Score Card to enumerate the achievements recorded in the Ministry under led Governor Bala’s administration.

The Commissioner said those trained were given the necessary materials that will enable them become self reliant.

He said since inception of Governor Bala Mohammed in office twenty nineteen, he came with a blue print my Bauchi project where he invited specialist who designed plans that he is building on starting from organizing the Trade Fair comprising the entire Northeast that fetched him award as one of the best that prepared him to have an enabling environment that will attract investors from within and outside the state.

According to the Commissioner, government can only create enabling environment condusive that will attract both national and international business men and women that can come and invest in the state.

It could be recalled that governor Bala’s government was the first to organised a trade Fair in the Northeast that was rated high and gave him the ample opportunity to organize the international economic and investment summit that will attract in vestors nationally and internationally who will come and invest to serve as a means of creating jobs as well as generating means of revenue.

The Commissioner also added that the governor has secured about four million two hundred hecters of land for grasing and farming that will also attract more investors.

He noted that the governor did not just start like that, it was a long term plan since inception into office in twenty nineteen.

This was as a result of the plans from his first tenure that brought to the organizing of this economic and investment summit believing that after the summit both national and international investors will come and invest in the state to boost revenue generation and job opportunities.

He also assured that the governor has concluded arrangements to establish a cement factory that about ten thousand staff would be employed to reduce youths restiveness and unemployment in the state.
