National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has pleged to collaborate with Adolescent Girls for Learning and Employment AGILE to enhance seamless registration of prospective targeted students of the projects across the twenty local government areas of Bauchi.
This was disclosed by Bauchi State NIMC Coordinator Ibrahim Lawan Gwarzo while speaking to newsmen shortly after he granted audience to the management team of AGILE in his office.
The coordinator emphasized the significance of the partnership to ensure success of the AGILE project in the state.
He also said they were committed to improving processes and enhancing efficiency of NIMC across the state.
He highlighted that, the Bauchi State NIMC has registration Centers in Alkaleri, Bauchi, Darazo, Jamaare, Katagum, Misau, Zaki, Ningi and Dass local government areas.
Earlier, the Bauchi State AGILE Project Coordinator Hajiya Ladi Mohammed Hamma said the major challenge they are facing during registration exercise of the project is lack of NIN number by the beneficiaries particularly on the financial incentive of transitional classes.
The AGILE Project coordinator reiterated the need for collaborating with NIMC to overcome the challenges associated with the beneficiaries’ NIN to ensure successful implementation of the project in Bauchi State.
Hajiya Ladi Mohammed used the medium and thanked Governor Bala Mohammed led administration for the support given towards the success of the project.
