Bauch State Gov Reaffirms Support for RMAFC Data Verification to Strengthen Equitable Revenue Allocation

The Bauchi State Government has reaffirmed commitment to fully support the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission RMAFC in its ongoing nationwide data verification exercise.

Governor Bala Mohammed gave the commitment while receiving a delegation from the Commission on routine data capturing exercise at Government House Bauchi.

Governor Bala Mohammed Represented by Secretary to the State Government Aminu Hammayo said accurate and updated data from states are crucial for guiding decisions on sharing resources among the Federal, State, and local government tiers.

The Governor expressed confidence that by working closely with RMAFC, the process will reinforce trust in national allocations and reflect equitable treatment for every state.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation Kabir Muhammad said the exercise is to obtain and compare local data with its existing records to ensure accuracy in the ongoing national assignment.

Kabir Muhammad assured that the committee will conduct its work with transparency and a sense of accountability, expressing confidence that the results of the review will be acceptable to all stakeholders.
