Barrister Laraba Hamisu of the Bauchi State Sanitation and Environmental Protection Agency BASEPA Mobile Court has ordered fresh hearing notices for five defendants who failed to appear in court.
The defendants were charged with violating Bauchi State Environmental Protection Agency laws during the end-of-month sanitation exercise.
Barrister Hamisu noted that their absence delayed court proceedings and affected case dispensation.
The defendants are Hamza Aliyu, Hamza Adamu and Halima Mohammed, Zamani Hussaini
The order was given after the plaintiff’s Representative requested that the court issue new notices compelling the defendants to appear at the next hearing.
