Alkaleri Local Government administration has received a vehicle from the Bauchi State Fire Service to strengthen efforts to prevent and respond to fire outbreaks in the local government.
The vehicle was presented to the council by the Director of the Bauchi State Fire Service, Dauda Bala Pali, as part of efforts to enhance emergency response and improve the protection of lives and property in Alkaleri.
Receiving the vehicle, the Chairman of the local government Bappa Aliyu expressed profound appreciation to the Director of the Fire Service for the gesture and pledged to work closely with the directorate to improve service delivery to the people of the local government.
He assured that the council would make judicious use of the vehicle and deploy it for the purpose for which it was provided.
Earlier, the Director of the Bauchi State Fire Service, Dauda Bala Pali, said the delegation was at the local government to formally hand over the vehicle and congratulate Bappa Aliyu on his recent election as Chairman.
Dauda Pali expressed confidence that the council would put the vehicle to good use and assured the chairman of the Fire Service’s continued cooperation and synergy with the local government to ensure effective fire prevention and emergency response.
He also wished the chairman a successful tenure in office.
