BACHI STATE ASSEMBLY PASSES 2025 BUDGET PROPOSAL BILL TO SECOND READING

Bauchi State House of Assembly has passed into second reading, twenty twenty five state appropriation bill.
The passage of the bill was performed during the house plenary presided over by the speaker Abubakar Y. Sulaiman as move by the house Majority leader, member representing Shira constituency Sale Hodi Jibir.
Speaking after receiving the twenty twenty five budget proposal, the speaker pledged to ensure smooth and speedy passage of the proposed budget.
According to him, the State legislative arm is ever ready and determined towards discharging its social corporate roles and responsibility for good governance.
.The lawmaker said the proposed twenty twenty five budget will serve as a catalyst for changing the socio-economics condition of all the people of the state.
He advised all MDA’s in the state to provide the needed information in defense of the budget before the relevant house committees in order to ensure smooth passage of the fiscal estimates.
Abubakar Sulaiman while commending the state Governor for his timely and consistent of presenting the state budget to the legislature, said any heads of ministries, departments and agencies of government found wanting, will be sanction.
The Speaker noted that, the legislature and the executive in the state have so far demonstrated commitment to the delivery of public good through peaceful coexistence and harmonious working relationship.
Abubakar Sulaiman appreciated the state Governor for approving 70.000 naira minimum wage for state civil servants.
