Kirfi Youth Coalition empowers over 40 Women in Badara

More than 40 women have benefited from an empowerment programme organised by the Kirfi Youth Coalition for Yakubu Adamu PhD 2027.

The programme was held on Saturday at Baba Primary School, Badara B, in Badara Ward of Kirfi Local Government Area.

Speaking at the occasion, Chairman of the coalition and Councillor representing Kirfi Ward, Abubakar Ibrahim Wuromadaki, said the beneficiaries received various items and financial support to enhance their livelihoods.

He said macaroni-making machines and cash assistance were distributed as part of the empowerment initiative.

Abubakar Ibrahim explained that the programme was being organised monthly, adding that the latest exercise marked the third cycle of the initiative.

He noted that previous empowerment programmes had been conducted in Kirfi and Bara wards, where similar livelihood support materials were distributed to beneficiaries.

The coalition chairman also called on the beneficiaries and supporters to support Yakubu Adamu PhD for Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad for Bauchi South Senatorial District, and other candidates of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) in the 2027 general elections.

One of the beneficiaries, Sadiya Sanda, expressed appreciation to the organisers for the gesture, saying the support would help improve their livelihoods.

She also pledged the beneficiaries’ support for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming elections.
