600 teachers in Bauchi State are undergoing a comprehensive training workshop organized by the North East Development Commission (NEDC), the Bauchi State Government, and Global Stallion Integrated Limited.

The move is geared to enhance effective teaching and school management in Bauchi State.

The training, which is taking place at Zaranda Hotel Bauchi, will focus on key subject areas including Mathematics, English, and General subjects, is designed to equip educators with modern teaching techniques and administrative skills to improve learning outcomes in schools.

At the opening ceremony, the Director of School Services at the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Malam Zuhairu Usman, who represented the Board’s Chairman, urged participants to take the workshop seriously and apply the knowledge gained in their respective schools.
In his remarks, State Coordinator of the North East Development Commission, Alhaji Aliyu Isyaka, emphasized that the training aims to address critical challenges in the education sector by providing teachers of education in the region with the right tools and methodologies.
He said the training underscores the collaborative efforts of government and private sector stakeholders in tackling educational deficiencies and fostering academic excellence in the North East region.
Auwal Haruna, a consultant with Global Stallion Integrated Limited, the firm handling the training, disclosed that similar workshops will be conducted across the three senatorial districts of Bauchi State, targeting a total of 600 teachers.
He expressed optimism that the program will significantly enhance teaching standards and school management practices.
