Zaar Muslim Youth Development Association has restated its commitment to work in synergy with all and sundry in order to ensure unity and sustenance of peace in Bogoro local government area.
The National Chairman Zaar Muslim Youth Development Association, Engineer Abubakar Aliyu Bello made the disclosure when he led members of the Association on a Sallah homage to the palace of the village Head of Bogoro.
He said the Association is ready to work with everybody irrespective of tribal or religious differences in order to ensure unity and development in Bogoro local government.
Engineer Abubakar Bello said Islam preaches peace at all times, saying it has become imperative for them to work harmoniously with groups, individuals, tribes and religions group in order to ensure sustainable peace in the area.
The chairman of Zaar Muslim Youth Development Association said plans are on to build houses in Bogoro town in order to ensure smooth conduct of their activities especially during the Eid celebrations, saying that lack of accommodation is seriously affecting their activities.
Engineer Abubakar Aliyu Bello used the medium to commend the district Head of Bogoro, Mr. Nuhu Tafida for his leadership style.
He used the medium to dispel the erroneous belief being circulated by some misinformed persons that there were no Muslims among sayawa tribe, a claim he described as outright lie.
Responding, the village Head of Bogoro, Mr Nuhu Tafida, expressed gratitude to members of the Zaar Muslim Youth Development Association for the visit and thanked the entire Muslim ummah for their prayers to leaders and the country as a whole throughout the period of the Ramadan fast.
He expressed appreciation to the people who turned out in large numbers in order to pay him the usual Sallah homage in his palace despite the-economic challenges faced by the people.
The traditional ruler used the medium to call on the people to live peacefully with one another, stressing that peace cannot be achieved without unity, love and understanding.
Mr Nuhu Tafida said all the problems bedeviling the country such as theft, kidnapping, high cost of living and other societal ills were as a result of the sins committed by the people and therefore urged the people to return to God and seek for his forgiveness in order to gain eternal salvation.
He called on his people to avoid hiding criminals in their midst, rather they should unite and bring meaningful development to Bogoro local government, Bauchi state and the country as a whole.
