STATE ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATION COMMENDS MDAs FOR STRICT MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES.

The State house of Assembly committee on appropriation has expressed satisfaction with the way and manner Ministries, Departments and Agencies of state government are managing the state resources.

The chairman of the committee Barrister Habib Umar stated this in an interview with state assembly correspondents in his office.

According to him, the house of Assembly appropriation committee is responsible for drafting concurrent resolution on the state budget for congressional action on spending, revenue and debt limit legislation.

Habib Umar added that, the budget resolution was jointly agreed by the appropriation committee and other sub committees.

The lawmaker revealed that, the committee has fight for budget priorities that reflect the values of the entire citizens of the state, .

The chairman said, the committee would ensure transparency and enforcing the budget resolution by working with other committees such as the committee on finance to prevent potential violations of the budget.
