ICYMI: Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy trains 110 Bauchi Civil Servants on e-Governance and service adoption
Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy has trained one hundred and ten selected civil servants on Service-Wide adoption, institutionalization, and implementation of e-Government in Bauchi State.
Speaking at the closing ceremony held at Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed reiterated commitment of his administration in organising capacity building worshop for Civil servants in the state to improve service delivery.
The Governor represented by the State Secretary to the Government Alhaji Aminu Hammayo said the training aims to enhance participants’ knowledge of e-Government as a catalyst for smart innovation and transformative change in the state.
While commending the federal government for organising the training, Governor Bala Mohammed charged the participants to use the knowledge gained to enhance their operational capacity.
In a remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy Mr. Nadumbu Gagare noted that, the Ministry initiated the training programs for public officials across the six geopolitical zones, which is one of the major components of the second phase, with Bauchi representing the North-East region of Nigeria.
Mr. Nadumbu Gagare also said the training focuses on deepening the participants understanding of the core principles and philosophy behind e-Government in service delivery, ultimately fostering a mindset shift among public officials for transparent and service-oriented.
The permanent Sectrary said the Ministry has recorded a major milestone in the second phase of the programme, saying so far, 550 participants have been successfully trained across the five geopolitical zones, with an additional 110 participants completing their training in Bauchi, North East Zone.
