Gov Bala Mohammed felicitates with people of Bauchi on the occasion of this year’s sallah celebration.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls in the state on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr with a call on them to use the period to pray to Almighty Allah for peace, unity and prosperity in the state and the country as a whole.

In a sallah message, the Governor, hoped that the lessons learnt during the month of Ramadan would continue to guide Muslims actions and utterances after the holy month.

He urged them to use the occasion to reflect on their past activities and take corrective measures towards improving their relationship with Allah (SWT), fellow Muslim Ummah and adherents of other faith by emulating Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) of making sacrifices for the benefit of the less privileged ones in the society.

Governor Bala Mohammed noted that his administration is committed to sustaining peaceful coexistence among the heterogeneous ethnic and religious groups in the State and appealed for continued understanding, cooperation and support of the citizens towards the realization of the noble objective.

On the the current economic hardship, the Governor assured that the State Government in collaboration with the Federal Government will continue to take necessary measures to bring succor to the people of the State.
