First Lady Bauchi State explores Areas of Cooperation as she pays visit to Algerian Ambassador

The First Lady of Bauchi State, Her Excellency Ambassador Hajia Aisha Bala Mohammed, has paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Algeria to Nigeria, Mr Hocine Mezoued, at his office in Abuja.

A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the First Lady, Zainab Garba Musa, said the visit was aimed at strengthening the cordial relationship between Nigeria and Algeria, while also exploring areas of mutual cooperation in education, women empowerment, humanitarian services, as well as cultural exchange.

The statement said the governor’s wife emphasized the importance of international partnerships in promoting sustainable development and creating opportunities for women and youth.

She noted that institutions such as the Almuhibba Foundation and Almuhibba Open University remain committed to advancing education and social welfare through strategic collaborations.

In his remarks, the Algerian Ambassador, Mr Hocine Mezoued, commended the Bauchi State First Lady for her dedication to humanitarian service, education, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups.

He also expressed his readiness to deepen cooperation for the benefit of both nations.

The visit further reflects the First Lady’s commitment to building bridges of friendship, unity, and development across borders.
