EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN BOGORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL EMBARKS ON WORKING TOUR AIMED AT RESTORING GLORY OF EDUCATION SECTOR .

The Executive Chairman Bogoro Local Government Surveyor Yakubu Lawi has embarked on Campaign tour across three Districts of Bogoro, Boi and Lusa towards strengthening efforts aimed at improving the sector at the Local level.
The Chairman who encouraged the teachers to put their best inorder to ensure effective srevice delivery, pledged to use his wealth of experience to improve the standard of education at the grassroot level .
Earlier , the Education Secretary Bogoro Local government council, Mr Soul Samuel Mammal appreciated the Chairman for the initiative to visit the three Districts under Bogoro to assess their plight with a view to proffering solutions that would bring to an end the challenges confronting the sector.
Mr Soul Sumuel Mamman appreciated the conduct of the teachers and urged them to forward their problems to the appropriate channels inorder to mitigate the challenges facing them .
Similarly, the Chairman National Union of Teachers Bogoro Branch ,Comrade Gideon Tukur Gambo thanked the Chairman for the initiative and ,enumerated major challenges to include Lack of staff Promotion and their subsequent implementation, which he noted will improve their performance for effective service delivery.
The NUT Chairman assured the Chairman of their readiness to support his administration and to deliver on their responsibility by teaching the Pupils.
BComrade Gambo warned that any teacher who fails to discharge his duty diligently would have his or her salary would be stoped for failure to do the needful.

Comrade Gambo said since his election as NUT Chairman,his area of emphasis would be in the area of maintaining Unity among teachers, the Education Secretary and their host communities of their places of assignment.
