Bauchi state Ministry for Youth and sports development vows to promote sporting activities in the state.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Muhammad Salis Gamawa has led a high-profile delegation of partners and investors from Turkey, Denmark, and Finland on a courtesy visit to the State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.

He said the purpose of the visit was to express a profound interest in collaborating with the State Government to establish a Sports Academy aligned with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development’s strategic roadmap and action plan.

According to him, the initiative is a crucial component of the state’s commitment to foster youth development and promote sports activities in the state.

Salis Gamawa added that the collaboration is aimed to harness the rich sport potentials within Bauchi State, providing a platform for nurturing talented youth and fostering a culture of excellence in sports.

The International partners on their part, expressed commitment to actively engage with local stakeholders to ensure the successful realization of the Sports Academy in Bauchi.
