Bauchi State gov to Upgrade COE Dass for academic excellence.

Bauchi State Government has indicated a strong commitment to reposition the College of Education Technical Dass to enable the institution produce productive students.

The state Governor Bala Mohammed who stated this at the inauguration of roads construction project in Dass local government area said, his administration is working with the National Council for Technical Education NBTE to secure accreditation of courses in the college.

Bala Mohammed who expressed concern on the increasing number of youth restiveness across the state, maintained that investing in technical education would promote productivity among the youth.

On the road construction project, Governor Bala Mohammed said the Dass township project is awarded at seven point three billion naira while the work that would connect Dass to Rimin zayam is eight billion naira.

In a related development, the Governor has inaugurated construction of Bye-pass at Nabordo town in Toro local government area and township roads in the state capital.

Speaking on behalf of the benefiting communities in Dass local government area, the Emir of Dass Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman expressed appreciation for the project noting that it would ease transportation activities and facilitate socio economic growth.
