The Bauchi State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman, has paid an unscheduled inspection visit to BRC FM Azare sub station to assess the preparations for the fencing of the station.
During the visit, the Commissioner toured the proposed fencing area and inspected materials already delivered to the site, signaling the state government’s readiness to commence the project without delay.
Speaking to BRC FM Azare reporters, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman said arrangements had been finalized to begin the fencing project, noting that the move is aimed at strengthening security at the station and addressing the problem of encroachment on government land.
He assured that the ministry would continue to take necessary steps to improve the operations of BRC FM Azare and other BRC stations across the state to ensure effective service delivery.
The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the recent renovation works carried out at the station and pledged to provide additional equipments and support to further enhance productivity.
He also commended the Bauchi State Government under the leadership of Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for its commitment to developing the information and communication sector in the state.
He used the medium to call on stakeholders to support government efforts in uplifting the status of the station for effective service delivery.
