A POLITICAL PRESSURE GROUP EXPRESSES SUPPORT TO GOVERNOR BALA MOHAMMED’S DECISION NOT TO DEFECT FROM THE PDP

A political pressure group, Kaura Good Job, has expressed strong support for Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, over his decision not to defect to the ruling, All Progressives Congress, APC.
The group also condemned what it described as the reckless use of terrorism allegations by government officials against prominent individuals, particularly at a time when Nigeria is grappling with serious security challenges.
Speaking at a solidarity gathering in Bauchi, the group’s chairman, Yakubu Babayo, commended Governor Bala Mohammed for his contributions to peace in Bauchi State and the broader North-East region, as well as his role in strengthening democracy across the country.
Yakubu Babayo highlighted the governor’s efforts to curb insecurity through the creation of job opportunities for youths, stressing that, gainful employment is a critical tool in reducing crime and insecurity.
Earlier, the chairman of People’s Democratic Party Hardo Ward, Auwalu Ibrahim, praised the group for its steadfastness and urged continued loyalty to the Party despite alleged political intimidation.
He called on voters to support leaders with courage and integrity, citing Governor Bala Mohammed as a model of principled leadership.
Other speakers at the event, praised the organisers for their resilience and solidarity in defending the governor against terrorism-related allegations.
