Bauchi State Assembly committee on Education lauds Bogoro Council Chairman’s effort towards Educational development
The Bauchi State House of Assembly committee on Education has commended the Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Honourable Yakubu Lawi Sumi for his grassroots developmental projects in the local Government council.
The Chairman of the House Committee on education Hon Dr Nasiru Ahmad Ala gave the commendation during an oversight function on the activities of State Universal Basic Education board (SUBEB) in Bogoro LGA.
Nasiru Ahmad commended the leadership style of the council chairman noting that the executive chairman had done well worthy of emulation.
According to him, the committee members were in Bogoro to inspect and monitor construction and renovation of 2022/2023 SUBEB intervention awarded by the Governor of Bauchi state Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed Kauran Bauchi.
He expressed his deepest appreciation and satisfaction to the leadership of the Local Government on their administration prudence.
Responding, the Chairman Honourable Yakubu Lawi Sumi applauded the members of the committee for their oversight visit to assess the work on the ground.
Yakubu Lawi Sumi pledged his administration’s Continued and total support to education and collective progress of Bogoro Local Government to align with the led Agenda’s of Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir Administration.
He reiterated the local Government council’s readiness to liaise with the committee to fulfill its mandate and advance the education sector in the Local Government area.
