Bauchi Gratuity Committee extends payment services to retirees unable to travel due to Health conditions

In continuation of the recent flag-off of gratuity payment for 2013 batch of retirees, the Bauchi State Gratuity Payment Committee has extended its services to retirees who could not come to Bauchi to collect their entitlements due to health challenges.
The committee visited the house of Malam Haruna Alhaji Sabo of Unguwar Gamji in Ningi LGA, a retired civil servant who served as a teacher under the Ministry of Education.
He was verified and presented with his gratuity cheque at his residence.
Speaking shortly after presenting the cheque, a member of the committee and Managing Director of the Bauchi Markets and Terminal Management Company Limited, Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Sizwe, said they were in Ningi to verify and present the gratuity cheque to Malam Haruna Alhaji Sabo as directed by Governor Bala Mohammed.
According to Kabir Sizwe, the Governor directed the committee to visit retirees who have health issues and cannot travel to Bauchi to collect their gratuity.
He added that the Governor also gave them an appreciation letter to present to him for his meritorious service to the state, disclosing that the committee will continue with the payment for the 2014 and 2015 batches by next week.
Receiving the cheque, Malam Haruna Alhaji Sabo expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed and the committee for the gesture and prayed Almighty Allah to reward the Governor abundantly.
