Bogoro LGA says it would give all the necessary support to ensure successful 2024 hajj operation.
The Chairman of the council Markus Bitrus Lusa made the pledge when he hosted a team from the Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board in Bogoro
Represented by His Deputy Chairman Timothy Andrew said Bogoro LGA will continue to work with the Board in meeting the required the need of intending pilgrims in the area.
He appealed to intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the local government, state and the nation as a whole before, during and after the pilgrimage.
The chairman while congratulating them for making it this year, urged them to pray for all categories of leaders as well as the security of the nation.
He appreciated Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for paying the sum of Nine Hundred Thousand Naira for all intending pilgrims in the state.
Earlier, the Chairman State Muslim Pilgrim Welfare Board Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba said they were in Bogoro to monitor the progress of training of intending pilgrims and to update them ahead of their flight to Mecca.
The Chairman of the board who is Also the District Head of Bauchi charged intending pilgrims to know the dos and don’ts of the pilgrimage before they embark on the spiritual journey.

In a remark, Bogoro local Govt Hajj Officer, Mal Abdulmumini Mohammed disclosed that 40 persons including 11 women will participate in the pilgrimage from Bogoro having completed their hajj fairs.
