BAUCHI PDP HONOURS NEW WOMEN LEADER

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly Abubakar Y Sulaiman has commended Senator Bala Muhammad for appointing Hajiya Maimuna Ahmed as the new Peoples’s Democratic Party Woman leader in the state.

The Speaker Abubakar Y Sulaiman made the commendation during a reception organized by the new PDP Woman leader Hajiya Maimuna Ahmed held at Hazibal Suit, Bauchi.

He described her appointment as apt and timely, urged the new PDP woman leader to justify the confidence reposed on her for the growth and development of the PDP in the state.

Abubakar Y Sulaiman said, Governor Bala Muhammad appointed her considering her track records in the areas of women empowerment more especially widows among others in the state.

He therefore called on PDP officials to give maximum support to the new PDP woman leader so as to deliver on peoples mandate diligently.

In her vote of thanks, the new People’s Democratic Party woman leader, Hajiya Maimuna Ahmed thanked Governor Bala Muhammad for giving her the opportunity to serve in that capacity, and promised to justify the confidence reposed in her.

The Women Leader, said her door will remain open to accommodate any PDP woman in order to move the party to greater height.

She promised to carry everyone along irrespective of tribal or religious differences for the success of the state citizens and the party.
